Manaus

Manaus is the main financial, corporate, and commercial centre of the Amazonas region and the most populated city of the region. The municipality recently adopted sustainability as a guiding principle for urban, economic, and industrial development to better adapt the city to the unique context of the Amazon. 

Manaus seeks to revitalise its historic centre and its waterfront, focusing on historical heritage and the reconversion of central areas for housing. Manaus also seeks to promote a “digital district”.
