The capital of Thailand, Bangkok is the centre of all development activities. The cityscape is always changing with new high-rise buildings and extensive mass transit systems being constructed, old architecture with heritage value being repurposed and green infrastructure and public space being transformed to improve quality of life.

A recent signatory of the Milan Urban Food Policy Pact, Bangkok is proposed to cooperate with Milan to innovate its urban food systems and explore urban farming.
